Former President Cory Aquino in “serious condition”!

Former President Corazon Aquino was admitted to the hospital last week for loss of appetite and as of today Wednesday the democracy icon’s condition is in a very “serious condition”. Before being admitted to the hospital, Aquino said if she were to choose, she would prefer “being with Ninoy,” her late husband. However, Mrs. Aquino reiterated that she is still continuing her battle with cancer for her children.
“Tita Cory is conscious. She can talk and pray but she’s not well. It’s serious,” the family friend said, asking not to be identified for lack of authority to speak to the press on the matter.
She was diagnosed with colon cancer back in March 2008, and underwent surgery last April.
We are asking for prayer for the former President and not dwell on her sickness.

It’s so sad to hear that former President is in serious condition. I am into the same illness a decade ago but glad to tell you that I survived. Of course with the help of our Lord Creator. Actually, 5 in our family got the same illness and unfortunately 3 of them died (my grandmother, mother and younger brother). To Madame President, keep your faith and believe more in God. Many people are praying for your recovery.
