GMA7 showbiz talk shows bans politicians!

I admire GMA7 for sticking to its policy in their entertainment shows particularly showbiz talk shows not to entertain any guests who are planning on running on the next election. It is really commendable and I hope with this development other networks will follow suit. It is really frustrating to see especially when the hosts of the entertainment shows are the one endorsing the candidates themselves and politics is not an entertainment news at all.
People will tend to see politicians in a different way, they don’t see and judge them on their work and how they are as a politicians but as a person to be admired as they give merit to their personality in a different way. Since showbiz hosts are bias on their opinion about their guests and they are usually not the right personality to give the public what politics is all about.
They are just giving them an undue advantage to other politicians who don’t have any contacts with the entertainment industry.
