Cathy
Cathy
At first glance, Cathy appears to be a half-and-half, though born to Filipino parents. This Boholana is actually a native of Zamboanga, until her search for her father led her to finally settle in Bohol. Though the search was successful, the reunion was not quite as expected. They found their father with another family, where they have four half-siblings. This discovery hindered them from ever really mending their relationship. Her need for a father figure probably plays a part in her choice of men. Cathy tends to gravitate towards men her senior, whom she feels can take care of her. Her most recent relationship was even with a man 16 years older than her.

Hermes
Hermes
Though born in the US, Hermes is originally Pinoy. He was born to Filipino parents and moved back to Manila at the age of 2. He stayed her with his mom, as his dad was based abroad. He went to the States only for occasional visits to his father, who was then working for a US-based electronics company. Later on, he discovered that they were his dad’s second family. Yet, he bears no ill feelings towards his dad. He prides his father in being a dependable person and a good provider. Flunking the NCLEX twice pulled him down to the point of depression. He yearns for his big break, and made a huge step towards it by flying in from San Diego, California just for an audition in his homeland.
Jimson
Jimson
Jim was born and bred in the Philippines, and was fortunate to live a life of comfort. Love steped in, though, and things veered away from its usual course. He was taking up Medical Technology in CEU when he failed five of his subjects because he opted to spend time with the woman of his dreams. Kat, his wife, is from Spain, so he decided to move there as well. He, for whom chores was an abstract concept, first worked as a restaurant crew in an alien country. In fact, mopping an entire restaurant on his first day reduced him to tears. Jim’s relationship with Kat had to endure a lot of downs, particularly one he himself committed: cheating. With all the girls in the Big Brother house, will Jim have enough self-control to resist temptation?
Johan
Johan
Johan is no stranger to the world of reality TV. He was able to join Starstruck, but was the fourth to be shipped out of the talent search. He stayed with the station for a few months after, averaging 24k in earnings per month. Unfortunately, his luck ran out yet again. Johan did continue to perform, but not on any screen. He used his talents to host restaurant gigs and sidelined as the resto’s waiter. Being quite a looker, he can boast of a fan base of sorts, a significant number of which coming from the gay community.
Kathleen
Kath
Kat was born to Filipino parents, but was raised in Spain. In fact, Spanish is her primary language, and she struggles with both English and Filipino. She prefers the latter, though, because of the similarity of a lot of words with Spanish. Her parents worked as overseas contract workers in the foreign country, and Spain was her home. The employer of her parents extended their generosity to her, and treated her as they would their granddaughter. Through their help, she was able to have an education. Now, Kat is a print model for a famous European brand of clothing. Though married and with a baby boy, she remains a head-turner. Will she charm her kababayans as well? Will the presence of her husband in the house cause more conflict than comfort?
Patria (1)
Patria
“When there’s a will, there’s a way.” Such is the driving principle in Patria’s life. When her family had nothing to eat, she joined a pizza-eating contest and brought home a box of pizza for her family. Patria has no qualms about asserting herself. Just try to call her by her first name and expect an instant reprimand. Her job as a medical representative requires her to travel a lot to meet her quota, with hustling and shoving just part of the job description, but this does not stop her. What she is not rushing, though, is love. “Ang pag-ibig ay parang bus. If you don’t catch this ride, there’s always the next bus.” Will that bus come for her while inside the PBB house?
Patrick
Patrick

Like a perfect end to a teen romance, Patrick ended up with his childhood sweetheart. They were the best of friends, and before long, she became his wife and the mother of his kids. Everything seemed picture-perfect, at least until his wife found out about his affairs. Their perfect world suddenly became blurry, clouded by dishonesty, deceit and distrust. They stayed together for the sake of their children, and Patrick hopes to start anew by bringing home the big prize. Will he be able to prove his fidelity, or will the temptations within the house be too strong to resist?
Rica
Rica
A consistent achiever, Richard was the pride of his teachers. Although he excelled in his academics, he always fell short of his dad’s approval. His sexual orientation was always a tangible obstacle, but he refused to be daunted. Instead, he took this as a challenge and pushed himself to prove them wrong. Richard took it a step further as he left home to pursue his college education in Manila. A blue-blooded Atenean, he graduated with a degree in BS Math. It was in college that he became involved with Doll House, a movement supporting the third sex. It was also during this period that he became a she, with the help of hormone pills. To be able to afford this luxury, the Richard-turned-Rica tutored Math in an academic center. Rica now works as an IT consultant for a big company. With her above average earnings, she is able to send home money to her dad, though their relationship remains strained. Hopefully, her stay in Big Brother’s house would bridge the gap between father and offspring, as Rica once again proves that she is much more than an added gender option.
XXRob
Rob
Robert seems more Austrian than Pinoy, having lived most of his life in Vienna. Women tend to gravitate towards him, and he has dated quite a number of women. Having flings and so-called affairs are not new to him; the conflict arises only when his partner suddenly takes things too seriously. When he does decide to commit, he invests time and effort on it. To date, he only considers 2 relationships as “the real thing”. His first relationship was with a Filipina, and lasted for 3 years. The second was with an Austrian, which lasted for 4 years. Their break-up gave rise to insecurities and issues on self-worth. In effect, he now opts to take extra care in dating and is not that quick to be taken by seemingly interesting girls. Robert vows not to rush into a serious relationship and would take time in falling in love.
Tibo
Tibo

With family stats at 5:4:1, Steve’s life story would definitely rival those teleserye tear-jerkers. He is one of five children, coming from four different fathers and sharing one mother. The death of one of his mom’s partners let them with enough finances to live comfortably and have a good education. However, she became involved with another man who brought trouble into their family. This pushed them into leaving their hometown and seeking refuge in urban Manila, in an attempt to restore order into their lives. This seems to have worked with Steve, as he now has his own family, happily married and proud father of three.
