Sid Lucero got his screen name from the name of the protagonist in Mike de Leon’s film Batch ’81, played by his father Mark Gil. His mother is the prominent fashion model-turned-actress, Bing Pimentel.
Sid is currently seen daily on Primetime via “Dahil May Isang Ikaw“, he is part of the movie “Sabungero” and he has done eight indie films so far.
Who is Sid Lucero the public doesn’t know yet?
I’m a transparent person and I’m the same person in the set, at home, with other people, and friends.
How many indie movies have you done?
Siguro mga walo na lahat.
What is the most challenging indie film you did?
I think “Independencia.”
What are your priorities now?
Siguro “Dahil May Isang Ikaw,” which I’m part of, my house, my condo, and my car.
What great things you want to achieve in your life?
Madami. Whatever comes first as long as the opportunity of doing a movie is still with me.
How long has Rozie been your girlfriend?
Five years na.
Pang-ilang girlfriend mo siya?
Pangalawa and the first one is when I still in high school.
You’re part of the cockfighting movie “Sabungero.” Have you played sabong before?
I’d never played sabong. Nakatapak ako ng sabungan during the shoot lang.
Want to try?
I don’t know.
