Mommy D (Dionesia Pacquiao) on the spotlight!

Dionesia Pacquiao, the mom of Pambansang Kamao Manny Pacquiao is now known as Mommy D as what she wants herself to be called now a days, was recently given a special press conference day by Star Cinema for her alone for the movie “Ang Tanging Pamilya” as not to distract other stars for not having any more interview time for them.
Here are the excerpts from the interview:
On her being an actress:
Hindi man pinangarap ni Mommy Dionisia Pacquiao na maging artista, mahilig naman daw siya sa mga artista.
Who among the young actors are her Favorite:
Jericho Rosales is her favorite actor. Avid fan siya ng ongoing series nina Jericho at Kristine Hermosa, ang Dahil May Isang Ikaw, on ABS-CBN.
Idol naman niya si Piolo Pascual.
On who influenced her in doing the movie:
President Erap Estrada ang humiling sa kanya para lumabas sa Ang Tanging Pamilya, which also stars Ai- Ai, Toni Gonzaga and Sam Milby. “Well, gusto kong malaman ni President Erap na siya rin ang dahilan kung bakit ginusto kong gawin ang movie,” Mommy D said.
On her favorite singer:
Si Imelda Papin pa rin daw ang favorite singer niya. Tapos, tanong niya sa press: “Buhay pa ba siya (si Imelda)?” They answered: “Mommy D, oo naman.”
On why she signed up for just one movie contract:
“Iyon kasi ang sabi sa akin ni Manny. One picture at a time na lang daw ang gawin ko.”
“’Di na raw ako bata kaya dapat mas marami ang pahinga ko,” added Mommy D.
On her acting:
“Si Ai-Ai mismo ang nagsilbing coach ko. Napakabait niya. Sabi niya sa akin, madali raw akong turuan dahil magaling ako,” Mommy D said.
