Carmen Soo and Luis Manzano team up for the first time!
Maalaala Mo Kaya brings together natural charmer Luis Manzano and beautiful Malaysian actress Carmen Soo in a different kind of love story this Saturday, December 12. Carmen plays the role of Maria, an immigrant who leaves her homeland for a fresh start in Manila. The fulfillment that she gets from being a nurse would have been enough, but then her life takes a whole new meaning when she meets Rey (Luis) in a party. They soon find themselves deeply in love with each other to the point that Maria couldn’t envision a life with Rey. What happens when he tells her that he plans to seek better opportunities abroad? Is it possible for them to maintain a long distance relationship or will they just let each other go?
