Kris Lawrence is South Border’s new vocalist!

Kris Lawrence, the grand winner of Star in a Million Season 2 , will be joining the R&B band South Border as their new vocalist.
Kris Lawrence has been in the music scene since winning th Star in a Million Season 3. His music has not made any mark on the Filipino music lovers, he is popularly known as the boyfriend of Katrina Halili and his latest album with the single carrier Careless Whisper. His single was not as popular as the Katrina Halili’s dance on YouTube with the same title.
By joining the band I just hope that this is a right move for his fledgling career to take off!

Kris Lawrence is definitely a PINOY PRIDE!!! South Border is a really popular band in the Philippines as well as well-known abroad. I hope and believe that he will excel as a new lead vocalist in the band.

not true that his music is unknown. people in the philippines are just plain
bakya or baduy, they like the older style of music. Kris is stylish and HIP
there’s just not enough market like that in the Philippines.
As I said Filipinos who lives everywhere except here in the US are all bakya
and like older music sang by bakya artist. NOT Kris, he will excel at the
right time, when philippine music market starts to embrace this kind of talent. Trendy, classy, HIP, stylish and an excellent vocals – actually
he is a perfect talent.
It’s so sad that Kell Gatdula needs to leave South Border. Why is that so?
